The first-ever FINA World Short Course (25m) Swimming Championships to be staged in Canada will take place at the spectacular WFCU Centre, an arena facility among the best in its class in North America. No stranger to intense competition and action, this 6,700-seat arena is the proud home of the Ontario Hockey League’s Windsor Spitfires, as well as the reigning champions of the National Basketball League of Canada, the Windsor Express.

In accordance with FINA’s exacting standards, a temporary 25-metre long x 26-metre wide x 2-metre deep competition pool will be constructed on top of the WFCU Centre's main arena floor. Additionally, a new 25-metre pool currently under construction at the WFCU Centre will serve as the warm up/warm down pool for the event and provide a lasting legacy of the Championships for the communities of Windsor.
